I get dragged here every year with the wife and kids, but with no complaints of the venue or experience, rather I hate musicals! The place is beautiful. There really isn't a bad seat in the house. Be sure to bring a jacket and blankets as it can get chilly later in the year. Food is expensive and a bit bland, as with any event center. The cast does a pretty good job and the stage is pretty cool with the natural elements correlated in the background. Great place to bring family and friends for a great night out!
They always have a few selections each year. They always turn out good and at least one or two kid friendly ones. Awesome if you like musicals. Really fun at night and a more reasonable temperature. The grounds are beautiful. Even if you don't go to a show you should walk around the beautiful grounds.
So cool, what can I say more. I took my kids this year and they loved it. My younger boy, 8yo, met the cast and now wants to do some theatre. He just started two weeks ago at a nearby theatre company. Well worth it even though it is slightly expensive.
If you want to buy the cheaper seats they have a pretty good view, don't let that deter you.
This place was one of the best places we visited in Utah. We experienced a professional reading of a new musical, without costumes or sets, and we were completely enthralled. It was also in a beautiful location, lovely landscapes, and the food in the cafe was delicious. The gift shop was full of many different beautiful items. It was a great place in every way.
The shows they perform here are always great, they have a wonderful concert lineup, and concessions aren't really overpriced. The outdoor atmosphere is incredible, and it really brings shows to life. The only downside is parking, there are a lot of spots, but only one lane in and out. Also, they only have Pepsi products, if that's your thing.
